The exhibit “Nicolas Bouvier, écrivain voyageur suisse” features a selection of articles and excerpts from radio interviews, as well as photographs taken more than forty years ago during a road trip through Asia.
The Swiss-born Nicolas Bouvier, poet, traveler, photographer and iconographer, brings the perspective of a European cousin to the long North American tradition of writers from wide open spaces and takes a compassionate look inspired by his extensive travels in Asia, Indonesia, Europe and North Africa.
The public is invited to view the exhibit free of charge at the Moncton Public Library, which is located at 644 Main Street in Moncton, New Brunswick.
