Through this event surrounding the VIIIe Sommet de la Francophonie, the New Brunswick government invites visitors to the region to discover, on-site, some of New Brunswick’s information technology initiatives.
New Brunswick’s expertise in this field will be presented primarily in three areas:
1. The public sector, with its government services infrastructure based on advanced telecommunications and geomatics technologies.
2. The academic sector, which is active in applied research and provides an environment favourable to innovation and technological knowledge transfer.
3. The private sector, with its vast expertise in developing and implementing technological solutions.
The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Culture is offering two different tours to share New Brunswick’s experience and develop partnerships with interested people:
- Friday, August 27 or Monday, August 30
from 9:00 to 16:00
- Tuesday, August 31 or Wednesday, September 1st
from 9:00 to 16:00
