The Book Fair " La Fureur de Lire " is the most important event about the French language in the Atlantic provinces. Its aim is to promote the French language and to develop the taste for reading in French among the general public and especially among young people.
Moreover, " La Fureur de Lire " has an objective of promoting Acadian and international authors through various book launchings organized by different edition companies. Finally, several contests are held, giving the opportunity to win books during the Book Fair.
