Vivre le monde de la Francophonie

Vivre le monde de la Francophonie offers high school students opportunities for meetings and exchanges focusing on a theatrical theme. Some 50 schools in Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario, twinned with an equal number of schools in countries belonging to La Francophonie, are taking part in the project. Vivre le monde de la Francophonie will provide an opportunity to raise public awareness of the state of theatre arts in schools and the diversity of international Francophone culture.
The program includes many aspects related to La Francophonie: theatre, international exchanges, training internships on La Francophonie, and hosting foreign delegations. It culminated from February 23-27, 1999 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, at a cultural event bringing together young participants from throughout La Francophonie.
