The Sommet de la Francophonie represents an unprecedented opportunity to raise awareness, promote and become more involved in the activities of the international Francophone community. The creation of a Web site raise public awareness about the benefits of participating in La Francophonie to Canada, New Brunswick, and Quebec. The Web site is also a prime source of information regarding the preparations surrounding the VIIIe Sommet de la Francophonie.
